what sort of pens/encils would i have o use to draw something like peyton does from one tree hill?

i want to draw something like peyton from one tree hill but dont know what sort of pens to use….i tried it with a normal pen but that didnt go to well….anyone have any ideas?
not everyone watches one tree hill
