This is my second favorite live performance of this song. My favorite is from Austin, Nov. 22, 1987 (as part of the JT Tour). Bono let’s out this wail in the beginning, which is great. And at the end (“and when it’s raining..”) he doesn’t drop the “heart” note (as he started to do in the Love Town tour). However, I do love Bono’s extra singing at the end of this version. Trouble is, I’ve had this bootleg version for something like 15 years and I still don’t know what he says at the end! LOL!
